Hi. If anybody has any of the following lying around and would like to offload it for cash, send me a private message. Guitar, bass guitar, effects pedals, amps, pa system components, recording equipment, keyboard/synth, banjo, mandelin, dulcimer, etc.
Two suggestions: 1. There is a Yahoo Group called freecycle, we are involved in the Monroe County chapter, but it exists all over the country. It's a list serve where people can post and request items. No trading or selling, just things offered for free, but you'd be surprised at what has been offered in the past. I've seen an alto sax, a drumb set, and several amplifiers and guitars, mostly accustic in the past six months. If you're just looking for a dolcimor to mess around with, and not to play professionally, there are ten dollar kits that allow you to make your own. They really work, and are awsum for only ten freaken dollars. They're great projects for rainy days, and for teaching yung children to appreciate and enjoy music.

Hmm, I might have a guitar or two for sale, currently thinking about which of my guitars to off-load, Fender Telecaster hollowbody 1972 ReIssue, awesome guitar but kind of is not suiting my needs, I have a Strat I might get rid off instead, I also have an Ibanez guitar although I'm most likely to hold onto that along with my PRS Soapber SE (best electric guitar under $500 ever made, without a shadow of a doubt).
I'll think about it, also have a Boss gt3 effect pedals I"m not using at the moment, possibly Gibson Flying V, basically, there's a possibility I might have something, just need to figure out exactly what <grin> all these guitars are lying around, after I found my soapbar SE I haven't touched any of them even if I used to love playing them before.

Ok, I got the Strat initially for $1000. It's an American made Strat (I'll look up the exact make/model for you if you want). I've not played it very much, always ended up playing other guitars, but it's got one kinda obvious scratch in it, I'd say $350 to $400 for it, not under $300 because it's a super nice guitar.
The Ibanez is a type called RTG-42, it's got string locks, very well treated, no scratches. It's one of my fav guitars, its got a very very thick sound and absolutely rock solid with distortion, I'd say $180 to $200 for it, it's list price was $800 I think but I think they've discontinued this exact model.
I also have a bunch of stomp boxes that I'm not using (since I got a Marshall with the main effects it just sounds much better and it's easier to manipulate than stomp boxes).
I got the usual, delay, flanger, envelop filter, all from digitech.
It kinda depends on how much money you were thinking of spending.
I also got a Crate amp that is really good and would be thinking $300 ish for it.
Like I said, private message me and let me know how much money you have and what gear you prefer, then we can see if anything I'm thinking off selling matches what you're looking for so that everyone's happy.
